Finding a 'home' in Snowy Weather
Author: cozephyr

Spotted Western Pacific 38148 boxcar stored in the Union Pacific's Roydale area of Denver, CO, on snowy 7 January 2025.  Noticed a person using one of the stored boxcars (lettered CNW) as a shelter in the bitter cold.  Note the broom - looked like a railroad supplied broom.

Great shots and info. Hopefully this year will provide a better home for the person than a boxcar.

Not the same boxcar tho. The one with guy in it the car has a UP sheild visible to the right of the door, the last is a WP Car.  Ben

Dreams come true.  Could he wake up in warm Brownsville?
