Long Distance Runaround

We're on the Ottumwa Sub at CP Connett in Gulfport IL, just across the river from Burlington IA.  There's maintenance in the way east of here on Track #2, so the dispatcher runs Amtrak #6 (on time!) on Track #1 around a coal train, then crosses the coal train over to #1 and lets him go.  Three photos by Jeff Van Cleve, my collection, 1/29/2025.  And yes, I was listening to "Fragile" while posting this.
