My son saw and photographed the empty acid train running Saturday 3/8/2025 at 5:44pm moving from west to south through the wye at McCammon, Idaho. The train tied up in MaCammon. Back on December 4th, 2024 my son and I caught it running north and it tied up in MaCammon around noon. A local resident living on the southeast corner of the wye, stated the northbound usually come north on Wednesday and sits at the wye for 1-6 hours before being brought east to Soda Springs. He stated the return is usually on Sunday. However as stated above, this past weekend it ran Saturday. My son lives in Logan, Utah and chases the line quite often. I will check if he any better intel CV the Civil E in NJ Date: 03/11/25 11:02 Re: Kennecott Acid Train Author: ATSFRAILFAN I'm curious if it's going thru Mc common or Granger. I'd like to follow it. I was at the mine Monday and it looks like there's setting there. I can't tell if a recent return or out bound waiting for power??

The "Ogden Subdivision Railfans" Facebook group is quite active and they keep pretty close tabs on the Acid train along with updates on the the daily NB and SB train runs. Date: 03/12/25 06:57 Re: Kennecott Acid Train Author: ATSFRAILFAN They were getting the "acid train" ready to go from the mine at about 5:30 pm last night, Tuesday, March 11. Any location updates and departure from Soda Springs would be appreciated.
