SCRM UP E9 and PE Blimps

Last Saturday (3-8-25)  I shot a little video at the SCAM in Perris CA   The first run of the day for the 2-car PE Blimp train, and the UP E9
coupling up to its train.

PE is the Pacific Electric.  Blimps refers to the cars PE acquired during WWII from the SP and the Northwestern Pacific, two of which are shown in the second video.  Railfans called/call them Blimps due to their large size.

Back in the late 1940's, a person could hear those air horns all over LA.  I could hear the Venice line five miles away.  It was always a nice mellow hoot.

Ii heard someone say that the PE whistle was a  E Flat  tone.
