This is how we do things herein Tyler, Tex.
Author: WrongWayMurphy

I am president of the Cotton Belt Depot Museum in Tyler Texas, but rarely man the museum
itself.  We were short staffed so today I opened up and stayed all day.  We had a lot of visitors
as it is Spring break here and the weather was perfect for folks to get out and enjoy all Tyler
has to offer.  A gal I know works at the Rose Garden and said it was packed, and today also
kicked off our annual Azalea Trails event.

I monitor the Big Sandy Rail Cam so knew this train was coming and we all greeted the train
trackside.  The main display room has a HO scale CottonBelt themed layout along with a lot
of Cotton Belt memorabilia (and a Katy shield I put so high up that no one can take it down)
and out of view a nice two level Lionel pike also Cotton Belt themed.

Little Tikes love the Brio trains and track as seen in the third photo.

A railfan in town from Pearland  (near Houston) came by with his family
and was treated with a westbound junk train.

This rail inspection job passed over the jump diamonds at Con's Corner.

Come visit when you are in the area.
