Western Railroad Discussion > CP Heritage Duo on The Meridian Speedway

Today was one of those experiences that keeps me interested in following railroad operations and photographing those operations.  Much to my surprise, a day or so ago CPKC sent a pair of the CP Heritage units across The Meridian Speedway on Shreveport, Louisiana to Artesia, Mississippi General Merchandise Train M-266.  Those units returned today on the reverse movement, M-267 from Artesia to Shreveport.  Things aligned perfectly for a change and I was able to photograph the duo as they crossed the Mississippi River Delta region in extreme eastern Louisiana.  Enjoy!

Same paint colors, but slightly different variation between the engines.  Interesting.

Very nice trio of images. #3 was a good choice for IOTD.

I'd say the lead engine looks the best.

I agree.  I've always preferred the Script Scheme over the Block Lettering Scheme.
