UP BIZ CARS
Author: WichitaJct

Saw a UP special yesterday. Everytime I see one I see a car I haven't seen before. Saw "Sunshine Special" yesterday which must be a tribute to the Katy. Does anyone have a list of UP biz cars that maybe includes the heritage of each car ? Thanks in advance.

It was just an SD70 and 8 cars-- an assortment of diners and lounges (and Fox River) and the one coach--probably just an employee appreciation special of some kind goin' for a spin around the block.

The "Sunshine Special" was a Missouri Pacific passenger train which ran between St.Louis and Texas with a Louisiana section prior to introduction of the streamlined "Eagles".
