While it would be a wild guess as to where, I can identify the star of the show as CP's "City of Port Coquitlam", ie. the 3716. She did do a tour of the Province back in the '70's after her restoration, but it was with some museum cars, so this isn't much help, but the yard goat must be a helper for a grade up ahead.

I have had the honor of riding many miles behind her when she was working for BCRail. They did a couple of trips to Kelly Lake, Exeter(100 mile house), and of course her adventure in the Great Canadian Steam Railway Adventure in 1988. May she steam once again. This image was from the Cariboo Steam adventure, a 4 day jaunt to Exeter and return, this impromptu "false start" was possible by a very enthusiastic and cooperative train crew after taking water from a tank car in the adjacent siding.
