Gateley pre-pre fence

Heres how Gateley looked well before a fence was ever even dreamed of. A much simpler time. The westbound San Francisco Chief in 1960 passing the site of the new chain link fence. Was this siding always called Gateley? I always called it Pinole.

A check of a 1956 timetable reveals it was Gateley then, as now. Pinole was at the depot a short distance east.
