Oversize loads northbound on UP at Lodi
Author: lynnpowell

UP 2541-UP 5368 northbound are presently stuck in Tomspur siding (south of Lodi, CA) behind the BNSF train that is snared by the downed powerlines. There are two huge loads on this short train, one riding a 12 axle depressed center flat car, the other one riding a 8 axle depressed center flat car. Do not know when the train will be moving again.

They are still in Lodi. The Lodi local died in the siding. DS 56 is asking another crew (UP 3727)to move the cars from the siding and place them away from the mainline. Crew is commenting on the roadbed being soggy there.
