Thanks in advance.

Date: 04/07/04 22:23 Re: MOTOROLA RADIO SERVICE QUESTION Author: Bermanator I would find out what "vintage" your radio is... crystal vs. programming. If its its the former, use the internet and find radio shops and traders and try to trade or get credit for old chips versus paying for them out right.
If your radio can be programmed, you can look locally or even buy the cable and sleeze for the old software to program it. If you know an amateur radio operator, check with them. Usually they have a billion connections and friends that can hook a guy up with old radio parts. Good luck Bermanator Lacey WA Date: 04/08/04 15:21 Re: MOTOROLA RADIO SERVICE QUESTION Author: 251F Richard,
I've dealt with the following company in Gardena. Don't know if you're in the Los Angeles area, but I've taken several radios there for reprogramming and had good luck. http://www.advancedelectronics.com/ Hope this helps, Daniel |
