Many folks have requested pix of the full train from last weekend's Trains Unlimited "Domes to Reno" CZ recreation train.. Here are a few shots that I took. I hope that this trip was a financial success for Trains Unlimited Tours and the Car owners so that we can see this again sometime in the future. I chipped in my bit too for that by being a paying passenger on one of the excursion days.


Okay.. from front to rear we have:
SP 3105 behind the power..

Followed by chair car (coach) "Silver Larch" - original CZ Budd car.

Then the Silver Quail - another original Budd-built CZ car.

Then the Silver Rapids. Notice how much of a visual improvement that the original skirting makes along the bottom edge of the car, when compared against the other cars which have since lost their skirting (Silvar Larch, Silver Quail)

Impressive either way.. but presence of original equipment rules the day on this train..
