One night many moons ago, I was parked on the platform at the San Bernardino (California) depot (yes, back in the day prior to Metrolink, you could actually park on the platform), waiting for the eastbound Southwest Chief to arrive.

A fellow railfan came over and asked if I had a camera and tripod with me (duh). I told them that I did and he asked me to follow him … he had a neat shot in mind.

Attached is the result … never to be repeated. It was taken in February, 1987.
