SP 9410 was working around the Peoria, Il area on the 11th of Aug.

Would really be interested in who owns the SP9401 unless it is still CIT Groups through the CEFX reporting marks. Looks like there are no standard small CEFX letters above the cab number or any other company reporting marks on that SD45T-2. Not a bad catch at all!

Also weird to see a speed lettering unit with the dynamic brake blistering/burning on the hoodside upper letters so obviously it has been used continously over the last 10 years since it was repainted into the speed lettering scheme. SP9401 was retired by the UP in June of 1999.

Must have gotten it back somehow. The trace still shows it active (Though a little out of date) from Feb-June. I'll see if I can pull something up on the main computer at work.
