Author: trainmaster These photos show a passenger special on the Arkansas & Missouri Railroad. The A&M ran the special in observance of Frisco Days which was held in Rogers, AR. The train made round trips between Rogers and Springdale, AR. The first photo shows the train arriving at the passenger depot in Springdale.

Author: trainmaster The second photo shows the C420 that powered the train after it has cut off from the train, and is running around it. The crewmember riding the rear of the locomotive has a lengthy beard, and I got a chuckle when I saw that the breeze had blown it back over his shoulder as the locomotive accelerated down the track. Simple minds are easily amused I guess.
 Date: 09/25/04 06:34 Re: Arkansas & Missouri passenger special... Author: trainmaster The last photo shows the passenger special as it heads north toward Rogers, AR. I enjoyed seeing the C420 running long nose first pulling a passenger train. The photo was taken just north of Springdale.
