Western Railroad Discussion > finding a photo online you always wantedDate: 10/19/04 00:30 finding a photo online you always wanted Author: alco636 I first saw BN 2233 Memorial Day weekend, 1981. It was leading several other BN locomotives, and a caboose, westbound near Anoka, MN. After that, I always looked for the 2233. I only saw it once more. It was from a great distance, and my 110 camera took a lousey photo to boot.
I've looked through books, magazines, ebay, hobby stores, and many internet sites for a image of old 2233. Nothing until today. http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/bn/bn2233abw.jpg Isn't the internet a great thing? Any other stories like this? of Amtrak 375 for years.I know it's at the Tennessee Central now.I went down to Nashville last summer. The 375 was too deep in the yard to photograph.
