Is the work window still in effect during the week or are things back to "normal"

Just take a look at the Railcam!

That's rather hard to do since I only have access to the most recent view. However, judging by another thread here it appears that the track gang is still at work. When are they scheduled to be done?

As for work windows on Tehachapi. The last time i was down for a work window was 1996. The UP/SP merger was in transition. I will tell you when the work window closed "Slambo" Busy OH Yeah, just damn damn damd busy. Trains moving always.

Been like that for years, was there in 95 when I caught 4 eastbounds that were right behind each others blocks! It's worth the wait when u're up there during a window, it is always rewarding!
