Photo Contest : Sac Valley Fog

California Northern's Woodland Turn accelerates out of Dunnigan, California on a dreary day in December of 2002. The Sacramento Valley fog is famous for being near zero visability and temperatures in the 40's for the whole day.

That cold fog reminds me of the service at nearby Bill & Kathy's Restaurant, where the wait staff training consists of serving last meals to condemned death row inmates...

Nothing to post to this thread. If I had one it would be a white windshield. Nothing like going 60 mph staring at a blank windshield hardly able to blink your eyes for fear of missing a signal. It gets to the point you lose the sensation of forward motion as there is no ground reference. Not a pleasant thought! I think the San Joaquin end gets worse than the Sac Valley. Not looking forward to this as the season starts. I wish it were only as bad as your great photo Sam.
