Here is the MSPOEVE, yesterday, at West Scenic with the conductor on the ground to give a rollby. Today the snow began just West of Cashmere and lasted all the way to Alpine on the West side.

Date: 11/02/04 13:02 Re: Halloween Snow on Stevens Author: steampower In light of the present weather pattern with the warm front that preceeded the present cold front, that picture is probably not possible as it melted all the way down to Puget Sound by now(1 PM).. Hopefully it will cool off again so the upper level snowpack doesn't get decimated too bad. Nice shot, the view from the engine is always a unique vantage point...
