Well, UP 2001 is leading a westbound CSX Q35122, which is currently in the Gary, IN area (2330 Central). By the time it gets up to the Harbor, to Proviso, and re-crewed it will probably hit the Geneva Sub between the AM and PM suburban rushes. NS 8732 is the trailer. Train will be a MSKNP. But remember, this is the UP, who knows when the train will show!

Brings up a little point. I spent a few hours up in the yard today kinda watching what's going on with regards to communication between our yard (Proviso) and the other kiddies in the neighborhood. It's amazing how all the railroads in Chicago do a "tit for tat" sort of approach when trying to move freight around the Chicago Terminal. It's just amazing. If one railroad gets screwed (even inadvertantly), they're gonna screw the other railroad in return. I know UP has its issues, but wow. Anyway, I learned something new today......... I won't blame UP all the time anymore... LOL

If your implying that the other railroads are screwing over UP in revenge, wouldn't that imply that UP screwed them first?

can sumone post updates on here on the 2001's progress west, i would like a chance to get a photo of my own of these locos. i was never in the right place when the 2001 and 2002 where paired together.

UP 2001 has arrived RIVERDALE, IL (0636), which is STILL on the CSX. After Riverdale, it'll be Blue Island and up the Harbor to Proviso.

UP 2002 is on the point of the eastbound ZLCNS 24, leaving SoCal this morning, November 24th.

I guess I made the implication (theDASH) that UP doesn't screw other railroads. This is definitely not the case, and I apologize for making the implication in the first place. I just wanted to draw attention to the fact that it is pretty common place for this "tit for tat" action to occur, sometimes with devastating results to the Chicago Freight Terminal. And ALL the railroads are at fault. Hope that clears things up.
