BNSF ES44DC at Basta this afternoon - Fullerton, CA

BNSF # 7659 was stopped at Basta in Fullerton this afternoon a little after 4pm is my guess. Grabbed a couple photos as it sat awaiting a green to proceed westward with 3 NS engines and a mixed stack train.

Several other railfan/photographers were also present. The train proceeded west at 5:27pm.

Great shot, especialy since golden afternoon sunlight has been very rare recently. Anyone want a free FRED? ;-)

So of course this afternoon (tursday)with a spectacular cloud background there was absolutely nothing but baretables. A very large consist of roaches did rumble through the Fullerton station a while later (10 to 12 units, light WB)


TCS - but the sun was out ...!!!!
