The visible items under the gloomy skies on 5.7.07 in the City Of Industry, California were a respectable selection that ranged from SD70ACE UP 8310 to a surprisingly clean MRL boxcar coupled to an old gondola that looked to be marked for both B&O and C&O.

SP 8586 with only minimal evidence of a visit by the local Tagger Turdbrains.

LLPX 2601 is still untouched and very clean looking, especially considering the local scribbling yokels and the areas it is used in.

CSX 8035 with a very white cab roof, so white it looks like a recent repaint was done on top.

This MRL boxcar is the first clean one I have seen in the area in quite awhile and was next to the odd gondola to be shown next. The MRL boxcars are showing up more often so are there additional ones going into service or just more of them moving around on the West Coast perhaps?

This gondola was very worn out looking, is marked BO (B&O?) above the numbers but in the midddle of the car side is what looks to be C&O markings, big yellow Chessie C symbol included. Anyone know the story behind the odd markings combination?

Sorry, this pic of the gondola should have gone up first. I can put up a larger pic if desired to help determine the markings.

It's just a Chessie system gon. It probably looks like it was restenciled just
because the side was so rusty that the marks weren't visible. BO and B&O is
the same thing. I believe in the computer, they don't use the &.

Most likely a new customer in area has been recieving some product loaded on the MRL.
