On my way home from the SFHRMS (Santa Fe Convention) this past weekend, I happened upon a very fortunate situation for the four people who survived this crash of their civil aircraft right on old business 58 in the middle of "downtown" Mojave - right across from the former SP mainline and the KFC and Best Western

Here are a few pix from yesterday. I arrived in Mojave literally about three minutes after the plane crashed onto the Best Western, and bounced across to rest against the abandoned gas station across the street adjacent to the mainline.

Amazing to say, but initial reports indicated that all four people on the aircraft survived the plane crash.

Geez, you weren't kidding yesterday about this crash and being their right when it happened! Pilot walked away - amazing. Too bad for the loss, a sporty looking thing too.
