So who said they were'nt going to do SP and Rio Grande. This thread says they are.

Yes...the thread indicates ALL will be done (within reason...excluding individual components of predecessor RR's, etc.). I never could figure out WHY they would exclude Rio Grande. The explanation that they wouldn't do Rio Grande because it had already become wrapped up within the SP identity before the UP/SP merger never really held much water for me. Rio Grande was a very large, very historic RR that NEEDED to be honored. And the UPRR is right to do so...
