On a rainy morning I decided to foam for a little while. Took this pic of KCUS. No award winner, the idea is simply to convey what the station looks like. Anyone who has the chance to visit this place should do so.

KCS Business fleet on right, 261 cars on left. Wisconsin valley club car is quite a car.
That's the car just ahead of Minnesota River.

Tried to get that Western Auto sign with the 261 in it, but 261 was too black. So, got KCS F unit at head of business train with the sign instead. I'm told Western Auto is long defunct, but the sign is kept going as a sort of heritage thing.

Here's what happened when I tried to get it with the 261. Not much, but if you get in the right frame of mind, maybe it can be 1945 all over again.

Galley area of Wisconsin Valley. I can never think of car names off hand. I usually refer to it as "That dining car like thing."

And now "still photos"? How in the world are you going to tend the locomotive and handle all of these extracurricular activities? Nice shots, Mark. I didn't know you had a stealth photography mode.

S. Sky, the trick is to take the photos during the early or late hours when nobody's around. That way nobody catches me in the act. I can deny taking any of those pictures if I have to.
