Does anyone know if the final repairs (wheel bearings?), have been made on Ohio Central's 2-8-0 No. 33, ex-LS&I? Has there been a successful test fire and operation yet? Will she be out for the convention? Keystone1

You need to e-mail the O/C steam dep't. via their web-site....ocsteam.com to get a definitive answer. Last I heard about a month ago was that they were waiting for a new axle to arrive to be fitted up on the engine, and that the game plan was to do all possible to have the 1293's boiler&running gear work done and the 33's work done in time for the July convention, and that after the convention they'd start on the 6325's main bearing issue.
But as I say, if you want an answer with authority you need to ask them directly.
