Here is the short list of the work we did this year: -New rear corners. -350 flexible and ridged staybolts. -New set of superheaters. -Replumbled the cab. -Reblumbed all around the firebox. -Rewired the whole engine. -Add new plumbing to the tender. -New arch tubes. -New grates. -Replumbed the air system on it. -14 new bushings and washout plugs. -All new jacketing in the cab. -New lagging to the fire box. Their was alot of other little things done that the public will never see but help the crew service it on the road. JBW Date: 11/19/06 13:26 Re: PM 1225 repairs Author: Red I LOVE to see PROGRESS!!! This is PROGRESS!!! And I know that it took a lot of dirty, fatiguing work--probably on people's off days and such--a labor of love.
Are there any recommendations for quality videos on this beautiful engine (aside from the POLAR EXPRESS--which I've yet to see--LOL!)??? Kudos to all involved. As for the "sold out trips"--where will the 1225 be running on these? Date: 11/19/06 15:16 Re: PM 1225 repairs Author: Mgoldman Phenomenal photographs!
Thanks for the updates, as well! /Mitch Date: 11/19/06 17:19 Re: PM 1225 repairs Author: kmayer We sell a couple of different videos at the museum. Bent Rail productions does all our videos now. They have a couple of real good videos out. You can purchase them thru the museum too.

Mike Date: 11/20/06 12:05 Re: PM 1225 repairs Author: ctjacks Check out this company for a good 1225 video:
http://www.bentrailproductions.com/ The video covers the Bluewater/SRI trip to Grayling from October 2005 and also has shots from some of the trips of that year on T&SB. Definitely worth picking up.
