Steam & Excursion > CP2860

With CP 2860 planning on getting out on the main in April, Is there ANY chance CP2816 could join the fun?? Could the 2860 in April wind up being a passenger run?? Any info. anyone? She sure is a beauty!

The planned trip in April 2007 is scheduled as a passenger excursion. The 2860 will power the train if all defects are repaired and she becomes certified for mainline service.

There is no chance that the CP 2816 will join in on this excursion. If the 2860 is proven roadworthy there is always a chance the two Hudsons will get together but there is a big obstacle in between where the 2860 is and the CP track in the Vancouver area. That obstacle is CN.

Thanks for that cp1400...... With 2816 getting out a lot in 2007and in 2008, one wonders if the doubleheader may happen at some point?!
