Steam & Excursion > 18 in GCR daysDate: 06/09/07 08:08 18 in GCR days Author: Ardenwood 1. I am trying out a new scanner and this is test #1. Any comments
appreciated. It was taken way back in the days when GCR ran steam in winter. 2. This was professionally scanned. #18 at Anita (I think). Date: 06/09/07 09:29 Re: 18 in GCR days Author: TheButcherofBena Very nice; reminds me of several shots taken by the Nitehostler from the same time period.

You guessed right it was Kodachrome, made into a X-mas card, then scanned. I have HPG4050. I sanned 35mm slides in the Internatonal section. Someone once told me a couple of years ago, but there might be some newer offerings? Perhaps one that shows both the diesel AND steam ops?
Would the ATSF 3751 video at the GCRwy be at the top of most peoples' list? Date: 06/13/07 08:39 Re: 18 in GCR days Author: LOGGERHOGGER By far the best is the GoldenRail dvd. Thunder Under Heaven. Steam, diesel, snow, sun - it has it all!!
