On September 8th the San Luis & Rio Grande railroad will be having a special excursion. Leaving for a late afternoon train ride from the Alamosa, Colorado it will travel to the top of LaVeta pass, debark their passengers to enjoy autumn colors and enjoy picnic-style dining. At about 7:00 Michael Martin Murphy, known for his hit "Wildfire" will be taking the stage for a one-of-a-kind performance. The train will return at about 10:30 PM to Alamosa.
