Steam & Excursion > Red lake RailroadDate: 08/05/09 10:07 Red lake Railroad Author: AzNerd Check out the story in the Williams grand canyon news ( www.williamsnews.com ) Aug 5th-11 it tells the sad story of our Local Goverment unable to tell the difference between somebody who is trying to share his hobby with the General Public, And how Big goverment has once again stuck their nose into something too make it cost $$$ prohibited leading him to shut down his Small Steam Railroad.
For more info or ideas you may have on try to save this RR line , go to www.redlakerailroad.com The rides on the Railroad was on a per Donation policy, you pay what you sought it was worth but you weren't force or require to pay for anything and it not the city of Williams that is ripping Robbie it our BIG GOVERMENT SEAT of Coconino County P&Z in Flastaff, AZ. Well we the people got what we ask for last Nov. of couse in N. AZ it has been going that way a long time: BIG Goverment! What neither the article nor the railroad's web site states is whether they charge for rides or not. If the rides are free and not run as a business, I don't see how the city can meddle in this unless the neighbors complain, which it seems they haven't. Bizarre.
