Steam & Excursion > SP&S 700Date: 09/15/09 18:22 SP&S 700 Author: 3751 What is the 700's status? She has not powered any major excursions this year, is 2010 looking brighter for this locomotive? Second as far as I know the 700 has not visited Southern California since she has been restored. Why has she never attended rail fair in Sacramento, did it not get the invite! I know that she might look out of place, since it never ran down this way in regular service, but what has kept her out of socal? It would be great to see this locomotive which I have never seen! What is the chance that the 700 could run down here in the future?
