Thanks for sharing the great job of documenting the trip. Nice trip.

How fast did the train run? Any sense how the workload was divided between steam and diesel. Not a real big train, so I assume the Hudson could easily handle it.

The BNSF diesel was along just in case anything would have happened as it run mostly on single track. The speed was much lower than the Talgo but the right pace for picture taking!

Got it first hand that on the return trip, they were running 40++ mph and 2860 performed flawlessly. Hope someone got some video of that especially with the weather co-operating.
