Gosh I thought I read it was going to be pulling an "Express"... how did you keep getting ahead of it?

TC, I believe you and I had a brief conversation while waiting at the 7th street crossing off of Telegraph Rd. I was the one shooting video, standing next to the crossing gate, on the East side of the road.
Your pics are great! On the way back to Fillmore, as I was crossing the tracks just outside of Santa Paula, I looked down the track toward that semaphore and kicked myself for not getting that shot. Nice catch! I also love the last one at the S.P. station.

I don't know which is more surprising in 2010, seeing that engine running within a 100 miles of LA or
the orange groves. Nice pictures, shots with the semaphores look very period.

Great shots! Really like the ones with the semaphore signals.
