Nevada Northern has steam today.

I just surfed to the NN web site and had a look on the web cam and see that they are running today on Easter. One day I hope to make the trip from So Cal to have a look see.

They had a booth at San Bernardino Railroad Days, and one of the display photos spoiled the "wayyyy off the beaten path" feeling-- up above the East Ely depot you could see a Motel 6. Most photographers choose a different angle.
But it is fairly far off the beaten path.

I've stayed at that Motel 6 a few times on my trips to Ely & NNRY !! :P

Referring to the Motel 6? I've stayed there several times driving the Loneliest Road in America from California
to Colorado.
