Hard to see, but ATSF3751 is pulling UP3985, UP844, and SP4449 from Railfair99 southbound! As she first started up, 3751 did not realize the extra weights had been quietly coupled on by a mischievous steam crew from out of state? I was in the '51 cab before I shot this photo. Compliments to all at Railfair99.

On a similar subject, when 3751 finally made it into downtown Tehachappi on her return leg, the guy in the cab was playing just the most beautiful music on the whistle! Does anyone have video or sound they can post? I have searched YOUTUBE but have yet to find that piece of ....music.

I remember that lashup well, what a group to be all coupled together. They went south of the display area and all blew down. What a sight and what a memory.

Wasn't it a refueling move?

I have spent most of the day trying to find (did) video of this event that I shot. Upon reviewing it, it was a different "parade" of all these steamers, because they had a BNSF diseasel and a UP E unit sandwiched in with the rest of them, but all four steamers were there, as well as the blowdown. I copied that turkey and have saved it on my MAC, but cannot find it in the filing system to put it on here. The quality is poor, hand held by an excited videographer, old VHS format, but it is an historic documentation of these engines all coupled together and moving. If I ever get it to surface, I will post it.
