Lexington-Louisville Summer 1977. Out on time; back six hours late at midnight. Followed by the usual late-night drive home.

5) Stopping traffic. 6) After waiting for hours in the heat, the train finally returns from servicing in the K&IT yard. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 06/05/12 17:04 by milfordgap. A Lincoln leading the pack, then 3 Chevrolets (Camaro, Malibu, and a Monza). Looks like a Caddy and an Oldsmobile bringing up the rear. Things have changed. Today you would be lucky to fing 1 ameriacan car out of the 6. I used to be a Chevy gut. I currently own 2 Toyotas, but still have 2 old Chevys (1948 Coupe & 1950 5 window cab PU) Nomosantafe Fort Worth, Texas "Where the West Begins" Edited 1 time(s). Ol'610 wasn't the most attractive locomotive in the world, but she sure could put on a show!

It looks like a 73 Vega (I owned one myself). The Monza didn't come out until 1978. It was just a remake of the Vega, but you could get a V-6. Nomosantafe Fort Worth, Texas "Where the West Begins" |
