All, I spent some time recently reorganizing, streamlining, tweaking, and updating the opening slideshow of my website. I cleaned up some oldies but goodies, did some weeding, added a few obscure and a couple of new. Follow the link above - grab a beer, turn up the volume, sit back; get lost in time….enjoy! a smaller box 'cuz I've gotten too comfortable inside my own. Superb! /Mitch Date: 11/20/12 15:44 Re: Lost Tracks of Time (steam photos) Author: mfmalk Thanks Mitch!
I fell outside the envelope, I can't find my way back in... Date: 11/20/12 16:53 Re: Lost Tracks of Time (steam photos) Author: kennbritt Matthew,
Thank you for sharing your images with us. In the age of hype it is refreshing to see the work of a true artist. Absolutely magnificent! Ken Britton Bedford, TX Date: 11/20/12 18:39 Re: Lost Tracks of Time (steam photos) Author: ChooChooDennis Gorgeous, inspirational and humbling as always Matt.

Some great images, still waiting for the "beauty" update though. Well, better get up on the ruff, you know what that's aboot. Cheers, Karl Date: 11/20/12 19:10 Re: Lost Tracks of Time (steam photos) Author: Rich_Melvin I am VERY impressed. You don't shoot pictures. You, sir, are a PHOTOGRAPHER.
Some of the nicest rail-oriented photo work I have ever seen. Date: 11/21/12 03:12 Re: Lost Tracks of Time (steam photos) Author: mfmalk I thank you all, and you’re most welcome.
It’s a labor of love for me; a passionate hobby having nothing to do with my full-time career. A distraction from the daily grind - carries me away to a better place and time. I’m glad others appreciate my vision and style. In the 21st century, we railfans are very lucky and blessed that these scenes are available to us. Freezing the moment with a camera is the easy part, so much credit needs to go to the men who keep these vintage machines alive so we can relive the past. A Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Matthew Date: 11/21/12 06:33 Re: Lost Tracks of Time (steam photos) Author: YG All of the comments above are correct.
Your images are truly inspiring. Steve Mitchell http://www.yardgoatimages.com Date: 11/21/12 10:33 Re: Lost Tracks of Time (steam photos) Author: Rich_Melvin Matthew, I posted a thread about your images on the O Gauge Railroading magazine on-line forum. You have already received several nice comments over there.
I've looked at a few more of your galleries since my first post in this thread. All I can say is that someday your name is going to be used in the same context as Richard Steinheimer, O. Winston Link, John Young and a few other noted rail photographers from the past. Excellent work.
