3751 Arcadia 1991?

I believe this is the ferry move from Kaiser in Fontana to Los Angeles when the 3751 was being made ready for its first trip.

The location is my old home town of Arcadia, CA. The PV on the right was an ex CN car. It was next to the Pine Bluff on /a7a spur in Arcadia.

Hi Stan,

Actually I think that would have been the morning of August 29, 1992 when the 3751 and the two GPs hauled the empty pigflats to LA. The next day, the 3751 left LA on the Santa Fe Employee recognition special that went to Chicago and back. Here's my picture from the same morning in Pasadena. The MTA Gold Line's Memorial Park station is in this exact spot now, with an apartment building built over the tracks!
