An afternoon at Steamtown

Exploring Steamtown, however, I used to be a volunteer there 1999 - 2002, so this wasn't a first.

These locomotives are hibernated for a long time.

The roundhouse images are starting to look a lot like Northumberland's PRR roundhouse in the early 60's, void of the pigeons though.

Love the 'half a loco" shot through the window!

The third locomotive, E. J. Lavino has a sister unit all the way in California
at the Pacific Southwest Railway Museum in Campo, Ca.
It is the E. J. Lavino #10!!

We worked on it back in the 80s, trying to get it operational, but moved on to
more important projects!!
Couldn't get the dry pipe to seal without a lot more intensive work.

The smoke box doors being open-- for storage purpose or for the public to see inside?
