Steam & Excursion > Long Before The Lone Ranger- What Railroad Movie Movie?Date: 06/09/13 16:47 Long Before The Lone Ranger- What Railroad Movie Movie? Author: LoggerHogger Much of the hype this summer is for the movie, "The Lone Ranger". We all know that this summer blockbuster features some "railroad scenes" using dummy locomotives made out of wood. However, that is nothing new for Hollywood.
Here is another movie that used similar wooden mock-ups of steam locomotives and cars many years ago. Who can tell me what movie this was for and what engine and fake train we see here?
