Steam & Excursion > UP Admits Huge Typo In Big Boy Press Release!

In a stunning reversal of direction Union Pacific reluctantly admitted today there was a horrible typo in their press release yesterday announcing the restoration of a Big Boy.

This morning UP apologized for the mistake and revealed this was the engine they actually meant to include in the announcement. The good news for us is that UP says they can get this project underway much sooner and this engine can operate anywhere on the UP system (or in any UP parking lot).

UP said they regret any confusion they may have created.
