Steam & Excursion > 4014 location at Pamona

Just wondering where they got the 4014 tied down at the fairgrounds, planning on seeing her and getting some pics Sunday before heading back to Flagstaff on No. 4!

Located at the Southern edge of the Fairgrounds.
Best way to find it is to locate the Large Floral Building then head west,to your right.
You will hear the whistle of Santa Fe 3450 blowing as it is really easy to hear.
You will need to buy a Fairgrounds admission ticket to get in the gate.
Parking is available on all sides of the Fairgrounds.

Bring your comfortable walking shoes as you will have a ways to go from the North Pomona Metrolink station. The display is totally on the opposite side of the fair grounds. It is well worth the walk though.

There is a Metrolink platform on the North side of the " Fairplex " , where the Fair is held, you may be able to get off the Metrolink there, instaead of the regular Station in Pomona

We're just south of the Yellow Gate, which you'd enter if you drive in through Gate #17.

They had a tram for the connecting passengers heading to the fair at the fairplex stop, no worries there, coolest part was meeting a security guard who was a railroader for Southern Pacific!
