In Nov 2011 I was fortunate to meet the UP steam crew carefully caring for the UP 844 locomotive at Colton, CA. In April 2013 I was pleased to see one of the crew in the cab of ATSF 3751 steaming. Later in the year I was on board a Live Steamers "Big Boy" park train when UP visited and rode. After that I met the president/CEO of the UP Railroad at Colton. This month I am a cab host in a "Big Boy" the UP crew is working diligently on. Small world, good people.
