Winston Link Museum 10th Anniversary Celebration Author: NKP779 Won't make this event but I sure wanted to tell anybody who hasn't been there yet that it is one of the best little museums in the world on ANY subject, not just trains. Be sure you get there sometime.......

Winston Link Museum 10th Anniversary Celebration Author: AmtrakJulie In 2007 I had the chance to go with my beau to the CSRR museum and see the OWL exhibit, presentation and afterwards talk with Thomas Garver. My BF also purchased a personally signed copy of "The Last Steam Railroad in America" which is in my lap now as I write. What a treat that was.
Thank you for the post. My traveling companion and I won't be able to make this, and I am very sad-it is on my list, and fortunately not far away from friends and family. I hope the festivities are wonderful! AJ |
