Steam & Excursion > E8s not likely to be in Spencer this weekend...

While riding a track car on the ex-D&H Sanford Lake Branch to Tahawus, NY this past Sunday 05/25/14, we encountered two SLRG stenciled, DL&W painted, ex-PRR E8s (#s 807 and 808) parked just north of the North Creek yard. Paint looks pretty decent although there are many rust spots.

Photo 3 shows the units in happier times pulling a fan trip on NYS&W at Chenango Forks, NY in summer of aught five.

First thing I notice is the ditch lights have 'disappeared' ! Didn't know they were stored up there. Thanks for sharing.

Nice to see Es with Mars or Gyralights without
the ditch lights......
