Nice photo!

I've never been down there and I have a question. Every time a see a photo of a "stock special" it has seven cars, no more no less, so my question is, is seven the limit to what they can pull or is seven all the servicable stock cars they have?

Is the Chama Yard webcan gone? I've checked all over their site and can't find a thing. Thanks in advance.

The Chama Yard Cams are down due to lightning damage, damaged node is being
attended to and hopefully that's all that's wrong. The grounding and wiring is
being attended to as well.

Maybe 7 cattle cars are all that are roadworthy right now.

While only seven may be serviceable, it seems to be none the less prototypical, as I've seen photos of short stock trains like this on the D&RGW.

Seven cars times, what, 20, 25, head per car? 150-200 head seems not unreasonable for a small family ranch with only a few hired hands. Heck, that might be several ranches worth for all I know.
