I'm wondering if anyone out there knows Frank Capalbo and knows how he's doing? He was very involved with the Bel-Del and some of the steam whistle forums but he seems to have disappeared. I hope all is well.

Nice photo essay, Ed!

Photo No. 6 got me to thinking. The Bel Del should seek out one of the Harriman styled Chinese coaches, making sure to get one equipped with multiple oscillating fans.Each fan carries the China Rail symbol in the center of the blade guard. They are a kick to watch as they go about their business of randomly sweeping the coach with air!

They've done an impressive job with 142, which looks and sounds great. The Bel Del is featured on our new DVD "River Runs: Two Steam Photo Charters".

as I believe the tender currently is lettered for Bel-Del.
