A freind of mine got us permission to be on the property this morning,And we got a guided tour of the yard,Here's just few of the pics i got.Scoobydoobydoo

It's a nice photo but the Alco is NOT a B&O diesel, just painted to look B&O. This locomotive has been on so many railroads including the Northern Central in Pennsylvania and the Western Maryland Scenic in Cumberland, Maryland.

I was told they are going to do the horseshoe curve special next year.

parked with her rods down on the side that is
accessible for photos! I agree -- she is one
nice-looking locomotive. And powerful, too!

next year. (Better do that before Wick retires.).

yes and the 611 steam train should not come through till 2016.

That's news to me. We have not had any official decisions on anything yet for next year. Things don't start coming together for the following year until usually the first part of the year.

I was told by a NS Engineer (Tod Treaster the one who drove it in 2013) That it was to come through. To learn more about him try this video.

So how would an NS Engineer know the internal workings & planning of the Fort Wayne Railroad Society and the NS Operations Dept., for calendar year 2015?

Agreed. She is a beauty. I was taken by her during an end of October 2005 morning at sunrise. :)

Yeah, that is one fine lookin' engine. Pic 3 is great. Looks like she has a full tender, ready to go home.

I hope you had permission from the owners of the engine before you climbed up into the cab and posted a photo of it!

Tod treaster is not part of the 765 group so I don't know how he would know anything about it I am telling you that there is nothing official yet and I have not heard any talks about horseshoe curve.
