Steam & Excursion > Can you hear it?Date: 10/23/14 15:58 Can you hear it? Author: msharps A damp and quiet fall day at Railtown is interrupted by the mournful wail of a distant whistle echoing through the hills as the Motherlode Cannonball labors up the grade to Jamestown, California.

A+, BOTH ways! Lance Date: 10/23/14 16:23 Re: Can you hear it? Author: Earlk Well, yes I can. Only the Cannonball was headed up the hill on the track you see going to left in the far distance. Saw 28, 34 and Shay 2 charge that hill many times. The great thing is I recorded all their goings so I can put on my headphones, close my eyes and it's still 1979.
